There was a time
, when the only access to the Himalayan giants was by going on foot for weeks over rugged and dangerous terrain. Yet somehow people grew to love the spirit of pioneer adventure of these tough invigorating treks. We are in the fortunate position of being able to provide you a variety of beautiful treks between altitudes of 1800m to 5400m in various grades with great views. We help you to choose from easy to difficult routes that will take you to the proximity of some the world’s most beautiful mountains. The Himalayas are diverse. There are the rugged high altitude mountain deserts in the west, the tropical, moist mountain-forests in the east. There are enormous ice-giants in the north, and the terraced paddy-fields in the south. We have trekking on offer to match any type of mountain enthusiast’s desire.

All you need to carry is your small day-backpack. Your main luggage is carried by porters or carriage-animals. Our team takes care of all your needs. Trained cooks prepare a variety of balanced meals that are adapted to the altitude and our guides are trained in observing your physical condition in order to prevent high-altitude sickness on trekking-tours above 3000m.

Our modern equipment, tents, mats, etc. are of the highest quality in order to make your stay in the lonely, rugged mountains as comfortable as possible. We have decided to do without grading our trekking-routes into various because such grading can often be misleading. Conditions in the various regions as well as expectations of participants from various countries are simply too varied to be graded.

Instead we provide you with an accurate description of the routes and point out possible difficulties such as trail-condition or in regard to high altitude from case to case. Our itineraries indicate from day-to-day the altitude of the overnight-camp or lodge and duration of trek, informs about expected temperatures, available infrastructure and with what kind of frequency you are bound to meet other trekkers.
